Complimentary Wi-Fi is available to all in-house guests. 

There is complimentary parking for guests staying at Q Station. For day visitors please park at reception. We do suggest the local 161 bus from Manly or use Taxi/Ubers. 

Our museum is accessible 7 days per week – Entry via Wharf Cafe or visit our Tours section via our website.

​Cancellations are dependent on your booking. Please read your reservation confirmation for terms and conditions or phone our reservations team.

​Feel free to bring your inflatable SUP or kayak with you, there’s a great range of bays to explore off Quarantine Beach. Alternatively, if you do not have a SUP or Kayak these can be hired from our Tours Desk.  

All linen and towels are provided for guests.

Sorry, no pets are allowed on site.

A child is classed as 11 years and younger. 

Q Station is a heritage hotel, and no air conditioning is available in rooms, however, ceiling fans are in all rooms and suites.

​Gift cards can be purchased online though our website or via the Visitors Centre.

Q Station is located in North Head, Sydney Harbour National Park. It is a short 15-minute walk from Manly or a 5-minute Uber/taxi trip. Alternatively, there is a public bus or a Q Station shuttle that you can take to and from Manly.

No fishing is allowed from Quarantine Beach.

Please note, no BBQs are allowed onsite as we are located in a National Park.

Drinks can be bought on site. BYO alcohol is not permitted.

We do not have a pool at Q Station. Guests are more than welcome to swim at the secluded Quarantine Beach. ​

The wharf is a public access wharf. Boat anchorage must be before the buoy line in front of Quarantine Beach, as the area is a marine sanctuary. If coming to Quarantine Beach, a dinghy can be used past the buoy line.

​Bookings are essential and can be made with reception.

As we are location within a National Park with endangered wildlife, driving is not permitted. We offer a complimentary shuttle service to assist you get around the property. This is available 24hrs.
No, not at all. Q Station is a public access site. Come and visit us, go for a walk, enjoy a coffee at the café, have dinner at the restaurant, take a tour, or just enjoy the beach.
Yes! Snorkels are available for hire if you don’t have your own with kids sets from $15 a day and adults from $20 a day.
​We have a great dive site right on our doorstep off Quarantine Beach. Our local dive partner is Dive Centre Manly, however, if you are certified with relevant qualifications the waters are yours to explore.

Yes! Engine Room is our bar and is open every weekend. It’s right by the water and offers casual bites, cocktails and a full beverage menu. Alternatively, Boilerhouse & our Wharf Cafe have beverages.

Our two-bedroom Terrace’s have a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, plates, and cutlery. Our three bedrooms cottages have a kitchenette with stove top, microwave, toaster, plates, and cutlery. All other rooms have tea and coffee facilities.

Yes, our restaurant Boilerhouse Kitchen & Bar.

Book a history tour or the museum in the Visitor’s Centre, open 10am – 4pm daily.

Sofa beds are available in our suites for an additional $50 per night. We can offer a single rollaway bed in the Apartments or Cottages for an additional $50 per night. Cots are free of charge. Please note, all are based on availability.

​Check-in is at 2pm and check-out is 10am.

Q Station does not currently offer room service, however, we have a full buffet breakfast available in the morning for hotel guests at our views restaurant and casual and formal dining options available across our Engine Room Bar or the Boilerhouse Kitchen & Bar depending on the day.

​Q Station offers rooms that are wheelchair accessible. When booking, please ensure to request this prior to confirming your reservation.


Tours – we have adapted tour routes available for those that cannot access all historic buildings on the site.


Restaurants and Café – all are wheelchair accessible with the exception of the upstairs dining at Boilerhouse Kitchen & Bar.


Getting around Q Station – If you have your own accessible vehicle, you are allowed to use this to drive around Q Station (private vehicles otherwise are not permitted). Our 24 hour shuttle service does not have a wheelchair ramp or lift in.

Boat anchorage must be before the buoy line in front of Quarantine Beach, as the area is a marine sanctuary. Wharf access is also not permitted as it is a public wharf. If coming to Quarantine Beach, a dinghy can be used past the buoy line. ​

​Beach towels are available for hotel guests and can be arranged through reception.
