Who is Ben Noir?

Un bon question. Very good question. In French, the name is normally spelt as Bennoit. But Ben Noir is maybe something more intriguing – a little bit naughty, a little bit nice but always entertaining.

Who is your inspiration?

I am very inspired by Edith Piaf, who brought so much inspiration and music to so many many generations. I am also inspired by singers such as Yves Montand and Charles Aznavour.

What is your “un petit peu de plus” (something special)

Well, you will have to come along and find out!  I have performed all over the world. Australia’s Got Talent, France a un Incroyable Talent, (France Got Talent) Britain’s Got Talent as well as on Italian TV. (Clearly, I must have some talent LOL)

I have also performed by invitation at the Australian embassy in Paris, (right in front of the Eiffel Tower) for the ambassador and invited guests.

 I also made an appearance in Baz Luhrman’s Film “Moulin Rouge”.

 I can assure you that as an audience you will experience something that perhaps you have not experienced before – The Ben Noir experience.

Are you actually French?

Of course! But for the full story you will have to come to the show to find out.

What do you love about France?

What is not to love about France. Le pain, le fromage, le vin. Le Moulin Rouge, The French!

Will make this event exceptional?

Apart from the fantastic food, wine and French ambiance, the show will delve into the story of Ben Noir through song, dance and burlesque.

I’m very excited to be performing my show at Q Station. We will bring a lot of France, a bit of Moulin Rouge a bit of burlesque a full degustation and of course, moi – Ben Noir!
