Manly Kayak Centre
Manly Kayaks at Q Station
Manly Kayak Centre offers a unique and diverse range of water-based adventure activities on Sydney Harbour for those looking to kayak and SUP North Harbour.
Q Station rents out Kayaks and SUPS on behalf of Manly Kayak Centre.
Rental availability is subject to weather conditions and Manly Kayak Centre operations.
Established on Sydney Harbour in 1990, Manly Kayak Centre provides the most diverse range of aquatic products and services in Sydney. Rent kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, take a lesson or tour, or hire our leisure boat for the day from Quarantine Beach at our Wharf Precinct.
There is so much to discover around Quarantine Beach:
Paddle to Store Beach, located between Quarantine Beach and Collins Beach. It was where ships used to unload provisions for the Quarantine Station. This 200m long sheltered beach fringed by bushland, faces west across North Harbour and is only accessible by water. Store Beach is a fantastic destination for couples wanting a romantic setting. It is also a fantastic spot for families wanting to get away from the crowds. This wonderfully secluded beach with scenic views and pristine sands will make you feel as if you have escaped to a remote tropical island.
The fairy penguins also appreciate the seclusion of Store Beach and have claimed it as their breeding ground. Beach access is prohibited after dusk in order to keep the penguins safe as they waddle in to settle down for the night.
Collins Beach is just a few minutes from Manly Wharf. It is nestled between North Head and Little Manly Cove and is also part of the Sydney Harbour National Parks. This hidden gem provides calm waters for swimming with breathtaking views across The Heads of the Harbour.
Little Manly Cove has a compact beach on the harbour side (so no surf) below the level of the road and a small reserve between the road and the beach. The fenced swimming enclosure takes up half the beach and its shallow waters are generally awash with babies and toddlers. There is shade on the sand in the mornings and the rocky ledges on the southern end of the beach are good for exploring. The spectacular views across the harbour towards the eastern suburbs and Mosman are provided gratis and it is also a beautiful place to watch the sunset. The park has everything one needs for the perfect day out to play, fish, swim or just relax.
